This time of the year is one when many religions and cultures celebrate light; the 'sol invictus' (unconquered sun) of the Romans. But for us, that light is not just a symbol or a memory of a moment in the past - it is the living person of Jesus, the Son of God, come into our world and who will come again. The great prayer of Advent is 'Maranatha'; Come, Lord Jesus. RECENTLY DECEASED
