Christ in the Breadline: Fritz Eichenberg

'God is no respecter of personnages' - from Sunday's first reading - does not mean that God does not respect or care for us - it means that God is not influenced by status or position or birth. God sees to the core, sees the essence and sees the need in each of us. So, the challenge is for us to see as God sees; to see the spark of the divine, the face of Christ, in every person, including ourselves.

AND FINALLY...COMINGS AND GOINGS. It seems definite now that work on demolishing the old presbytery will begin on 21st November; the long awaited finally arrives. In more 'personnel' news: Melanie has been dealing with the effects of Covid and is slowly recovering, while Francesca will not be in the office this Friday, 21st. I have to return to Ireland on some Provincial matters and, on 24th and 25th, to visit my mother and family. Be good while I'm gone! With every blessing,

Rev Eugene Curran CM
