The Gospel reading of this Sunday want to remind us of the need to keep being prepared, not in anxiety, fear or worry but in the love of God and His people. The events of everyday life both natural and manmade should lead us to the full knowledge of our vulnerability and temporal journey on earth. As we prepare everyday for our eternal home in heaven, may the grace of God abide with us always in our heavenly journey. Amen

URGENTLY NEEDED - CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MILL HILL CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH At this moment in time only 16 people have come forward to volunteer as drivers for the Churches Together in Mill Hill Christmas Day lunch. Christmas Day falls on a Saturday this year and so the large Jewish volunteer contingent is not available. Unless more people volunteer we will be unable to hold a sit down lunch in John Keble hall and will have to do a delivery service as last year. This lunch is an opportunity to reach out to those in the local area and bring a small amount of joy to them. If you feel able to help please contact Maggi on 020 8959 7918 ASAP. A decision about the lunch format will be made by Wednesday 17th November so that invites can be sent out.
