Baptism
Through baptism one becomes a member of the local worshipping community. One of the first greetings in the celebration of the sacrament of baptism is:
‘The Christian community welcomes you with great joy and in its name, I claim you for Christ our Saviour.’
Arranging a Baptism
To register for Baptism, it is necessary to attend one preparation session. Preparation sessions are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6pm.
Baptisms take place on the first Sunday of the month at 3pm as part of a group celebration.

The session will take place at 6pm in the Bethany Room at the Church.

Please Note:
Once you have completed the registration form, simply attend the preparation session on your chosen date. All information will be provided during the session, including booking your Baptism date.

There is a £50 stipend for Baptisms at Sacred Heart Church, payable on the evening of the course by card on our machine, or via cash.
