Receiving the Holy Spirit

Confirmation as a word signifies the confirming of what we have already received in baptism; namely the coming of the Holy Spirit upon us. During the service, the presiding Bishop says:

‘Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.’

Preparing for Confirmation

Candidates make a mature and free decision in consultation with their parents to pursue the church's confirmation programme.

Please sign up for our email newsletter and check for notices about registration events. Dates for classes will be confirmed when registration has commenced.
