Rite of Christian initiation of adults

(RCIA)

Full Communion with the Church

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of welcoming new adults into our Christian community. It is a tradition going back to the early church whereby candidates (catechumens) are led, step by step, into full communion with the church.

Preparing for the RCIA

This course is available for those not baptized or for those preparing for confirmation as an adult. The course begins in September on Monday nights at 19:00 and during the Easter Vigil mass, and later until Pentecost. To apply, contact any of the priests of the parish office. However, people can join this course at any time of year. Parishioners are welcome to join the team helping those undertaking the RCIA on their journey of faith.
